The HKA Challenger 8 is a versatile "road-to-trail" hybrid running shoe designed for smooth transitions between paved surfaces and moderate off-road terrain. Positioned as the trail equivalent of the HKA Clifton, it is a "gravel-grinding workhorse" that prioritises maximum cushioning and all-terrain versatility.
- Maximalist Cushioning: Features a higher bed of soft CMEVA foam for improved shock absorption compared to the Challenger 7.
- Updated Outsole: Uses Durabrasion rubber with multi-directional, arrow-shaped lugs reimagined for better grip on loose dirt and gravel while remaining smooth on roads.
- Breathable Upper: Constructed with 100% rPET engineered mesh (recycled materials) that offers exceptional airflow and durability.
- Improved Fit: Features a new last with a roomier toebox and a more secure instep wrap to accommodate a wider variety of foot shapes.
- Protection: Includes a 3D-printed toe cap and an extended heel pull for easier entry and added stability.
